Currently dancing round my bedroom to Peki Momés - this is exactly the vibe I was needing today, thank you!

Never had a music list where I didn’t know a single artist until now and couldn’t be more excited to dive into ‘em (even tho I’m not an old head)!! 👍

This music is refreshing. I’ve “borrowed” a few to play on my radio show. Will definitely be reading often. Keep up the great work.

Please check my list if opportunity presents itself.

I own a few of these, but I am just learning about others. I enjoy lists that serve as an introduction and yours did exactly that. Thanks!

All new to me, thank you!

Adding your picks to my EOY lists from Pitchfork, Stereogum, etc. I tried hard to listen to new music this year, but ever since Wednesday Bleeds dropped, I've been singularly obsessed. Excited to see where it lands on your list.

Happily overwhelmed. This kind of curation is what I was looking for. Looking forward to the next installment. And

posting the playlist on Apple Music gets my vote too. Spotify is against my religion.

Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!

Apple Music user here too. I don't like Spotify but I can't explain why.

well they are pretty evil

Gabbie: I’m a new subscriber. I follow your profile on Apple Music but I don’t see this on there. What am I missing? Thanks!

Gabbie's avatar

Do you mean the playlist? I haven't put it on Apple yet! It was created on Spotify since it was a collaborative Spotify playlist. If there's interest I'll put it on other platforms (and put the links on the directory you have access to now)

Thanks! I’m an AM user and would certainly benefit from seeing it there.

Peki Momes mention!! My personal aoty😊 Found a few albums I missed here - thanks!

Still personally feeling a bit overwhelmed from the autumn deluge lol. Even though it’s a “slow” week I still somehow have 15+ new albums on my playlist! 😬 And now listmas season has started - eek!

Gabbie's avatar

we had a very intense autumn deluge didn't we?? i resent it. i need it to be more spaced out

David Coleman's avatar

Have you thought about ranking them, Gabbie?

David Coleman's avatar

I'm joking, of course.

Really enjoyed these picks. I'm not going to be tricked into revealing my own embargoed Top 50 list, but I will say that two of these records are on there and I think you'd struggle to guess one of them.

I generally find that the honourable mention zone is where the magic lies in EOY. This is where I tend to read about things that totally passed me by. I do sense you might avoid some of the predictability that comes with a collaborative Top 50 by excluding the most popular artists. I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of this series brings!

I love that Ninajirachi record so much! And excited to check out Lake Ruth too

I'm surprised the other Australian artists didn't pique your interest but one can only have so many!

I want to check out Dez Dare too. Not because they’re Australian but because you referenced Har Mar Superstar
