Saw Model/Actriz live - it was menacing and sweaty, so totally awesome.

My favorite Electroclash record was The Fitness's "Call Me for Together". In classic fashion, the band recorded one perfect LP then disappeared entirely.

ohhh yes i nearly forgot about that record. i think mine was tracy & the plastics "muscler's guide to videonics" but she definitely had another in 2004

I've been waiting for electroclash to come back since it left..no-one told me it had been rebranded as indie sleaze..i guess i missed that memo. my favourite ever electroclash club was was nag nag nag on falconberg court behind the astoria..well before they demolished it..such great vibe, crowd, tunes..and all on a wednesday night

yes, i think the term was first applied to the fashion of the era about 3 or 4 years ago (check out @indiesleaze on IG for examples, not that i need to tell you what i'm talking about), and then quickly was applied to the music, too, as these things often go hand in hand.

Thanks to you i went down an electroclash rabbit hole last night so thanks for that..and then went on to your indie sleaze playlist which I also enjoyed…

awesome! the new stuff doesn't compare to the old, admittedly (I rarely say that)...I think it's too soon. but it's still fun.

I’m ridiculously happy to hear this genre has returned even if it never left for me.

Just as on brand as the Karen O haircut

oh it's BEEN back... and with a ridiculous amount of contentious debate around it, which i think is just so on brand lol
