I don't know what it's formally called! Each of the archetypes gets assigned points based on the answers for each question. Some responses will give points to several archetypes. Some responses will subtract points from some archetypes. It's relatively straightforward but also took ages to set up! Hopefully the results make sense 😅
So simple/ad hoc scoring model. Esp loved the bedroom picture question! Fwiw, I bet some data science/Spotify analytics nerd follower might be keen to dig into this.
I have to admit I'm just not really cut out for recommending stuff for little kids. but check out the guilty pleasures and "uncool" playlists possibly (the posts are good as well!)
Love the personality quiz!!! What’s the model? Simple ad hoc logic branches, fancy discriminant function analysis or something else?

It's probably too simple to be interesting to anyone but I'm all for making it more usable!
Do you have any folk music playlists? I've been playing 60s and 70s folk for a class and would love to recommend some newer songs.
i do not because i personally don't like folk (i know, gasp!). but here are 2 posts that should help:
https://www.newbandsforoldheads.com/p/music-that-belongs-where-you-are
https://www.newbandsforoldheads.com/p/if-lilith-fair-were-coming-back
- i'll fold them into this guide!
Neat!
All the 70s fol rockk has rubbed off on my 5 year old apparently, so I'm going to have to listen to your Playlists when he's not home. :'D
Kiddo loves Creedence and Johnny Cash and Willy Nelson and Musicals/Disney. <3
